Not just slow drivers in the passing lane; but...

People who buy performance oriented cars, and then drive them 10 - 15 mph under the speed limit in the passing lane.

Today on my way home I saw an RS4 doing this. Yesterday was a DB9, two days ago a Gran Turismo, and countless other cars on other days.

WHY!!!

It’s bad enough when the Prius does this, but I know it struggles getting to 70 as is, and that the tard behind the wheel is under the false impression he is helping the environment.

Why the hell would you spend good money on a performance vehicle if you’re too afraid to drive it the speed limit. And if you are the idiot who wants to blow their money on a sport car just for the attention, MOVE THE FUCK OVER so that those of us with the balls to drive the speed limit can do so.

I actually outcornered a kid in an M3 who was driving like a douche just to knock his ego down a bit. Im not sure if he let off from “oh shit this corner...” or “oh shit this Jeep might tip onto me”, Either way, I win.

I usually just pull next to them and down shift into third (side exit exhaust, no muffler) then cut them off. this usually sends them into a “fuck you, dick! Ill show you” 90 mph rage. Then I smile and laugh and say, good, now go find the cops for me and clear the way.

Once you get past the body roll scare, the Jeep actually holds the road pretty good. I also believe this to be due to the massively wide (12.5”) tires.

Yeah I never understood that. Though I honestly drive slower than I used to now that my car is sporty on the expressway. I stay out of the left lane when I do that though.

Good MPG’s in a situation I have no need to go faster.

That said, if I see someone behind me in twisties or off ramps, I will certainly slam that gas pedal to give them room to do the same.

Yea, fast cars slow is bad …. but really matching the slow lane’s speed in the fast lane drives me up a wall (or closer to their ass).

I dont flash often, but I do every time in that situation.

This triggers my recollection of my new and recent experiences these last few weeks. On my way to school in the morning, and sometimes on my way back home (around lunch or past four; I happen to see him more frequently now, and never saw him prior) I notice a guy driving a new-ish Bentley (Continental?) on the highway, who constantly hovers around the 45-50 mph average, cruising on a 65 mph limit.

I recently started commuting 55 miles each way on I-25 and every day now i contemplate buying a loud speaker so that I can explain to people how they are ruining everyone’s life by lurking in the left lane. I try flashing brights and honking, but I swear no one even knows they are doing anything wrong.

My other pet peeve is people on the interstate who brake for people merging, even though the merging person is not yet in front of them (getting the whole yielding thing backwards) it causes so much confusion and I swear the people who do it are totally oblivious as to what they are supposed to do.

I did the Colo Spgs to Denver commute for 3 months and I’ve never been so stressed. I finally moved to Denver and rented my house at a loss. It was worth it.
